Why creative?
Because creativity involves not only imagination, new ideas and inventiveness, but also different, new and unusual perspectives and ways of approaching the world.
Why career?
Because I can support you all the way from choosing a career, through studying abroad and preparing for a job interview, to changing jobs.
an English teacher, Cambridge examiner, IELTS trainer, life and career coach and a professional translator. But in secondary school, it wasn't entirely clear to me what I wanted to do later. I had never intended to be a teacher, but I always liked being around people, talking to them and helping them, and that's the path life eventually guided me down. Now I can't imagine doing anything else; I love that I can express myself in so many different areas. I'm inspired and motivated by working with young people, I can't get tired of it.
I started teaching English at various language schools in 2005 (among many International House and the British Council) and then extended this to higher education (International Business School). Over the years, I have noticed more and more, both in my groups and with my private students, that they not only ask for my help with English, but also like to hear my views, suggestions and advice in other areas. This is where I got the idea to become a professional and I completed a life coaching course, specialising specifically in young people. I later widened this knowledge further with career coaching.
I use a lot of coaching tools in my English lessons as well and incorporate the acquisition of different life skills, learning skills and a bit of self-awareness into my lessons. I am pleased to see that the people I work with are much more balanced, confident, productive and happier using the new skills they have learnt.
I encourage young people to find joy in learning, to take responsibility for their own learning, to be autonomous learners, to think critically and creatively, and to be curious and open to the world and other cultures. With this multi-potential approach, I am constantly training myself to be as effective as possible in equipping my students with the tools to enter the classrooms, and later the world of work with more confidence and awareness.
I consider creativity to be of paramount importance in all aspects of life, because there is always a solution or another way to solve issues, we just need to change our perspective sometimes, look at new aspects or come up with a plan B (and/or a plan C...). And as bonus info, I'm also very much into interior design, fashion and style (I once had the ambition to be a fashion designer but never became one), and positive psychology. I enjoy salsa and boxing, and I'm always learning something, for instance, about sleep or how to create graphics :)
At Creative Career, my mission is to creatively and effectively prepare young people, aged 16 to 25+, for studying abroad, successfully taking IELTS and Cambridge C1 Advanced exams, and excelling in job interviews. With a learner-focused approach, I combine mentoring and coaching to provide a creative and supportive environment for personal growth and professional development.
I can support you in ...
If you're in secondary school and feel like nothing interests you or, on the contrary, there are just too many options to consider; if you're confused about what university or vocational training might be best for you; if you're uncertain about what job would suit you best; if you've started a course but you feel that it's not your direction, it's time to take action!
#career planning aims to map out the most important characteristics of your personality and behaviour, identify your strengths, areas to develop, your values, and see what professional fields you would be comfortable in. We'll discuss higher education options, whether university, vocational training or a master's degree; internships, work experience, and look at how you can do some exploratory research into your potential or possible dream job.
If you've found the job of your dreams, but you're terrified of the interview; if you don't feel confident nor well prepared; if you have no clue how to talk about yourself or your shortcomings; if you're scared of weird and unusual questions; and if all this makes you anxious and panicky, it's time to take action!
The #job interview booster aims to ensure that you arrive at your interview feeling well-prepared and confident. We'll discuss what makes a good CV, what your key strengths are, what values are important to you, areas you'd like to improve on, and how to talk about your weaknesses positively. You'll learn how to be both confident and stress-free, what an elevator pitch is, and you'll also have the chance to try it out. Of course, we'll be covering the most common and important interview questions and practise for as long as you think it's necessary.
If you are considering studying or working abroad but don't know what IELTS is; if you are confused about how to prepare for a language exam, where to start and how to improve; if you can't decide whether to take the IELTS or a Cambridge exam, it's time to take action!
Of course, the #English exams package aims to ensure that you pass your exam with the results you are hoping for. To achieve this, it's essential to understand the structure of the chosen exam; assess your strengths and weaknesses, learn techniques, strategies and of course, practice. But beyond these, you will learn how to be confident, how to manage your time both during preparation and during the test, and how to be an autonomous learner.

Here are some of your questions answered - things you may want to know before you contact me
What is coaching?
Coaching is a facilitative conversational process in which I'll help you overcome your obstacles or achieve your goals.
The coach is not a counsellor, the coachee decides for themselves what the best solution or the next step is for them.
It is also important to note that coaching is not psychotherapy, we are not digging deep into the past, we are focusing entirely on the present and the future. We'll develop and strengthen your skills from your starting point so that you have no difficulty using them in the future. Within one coaching process, we'll address only one exact issue. We'll turn the particular problem into a specific task and work out your strategies and your next steps. You'll also learn useful skills, which we'll put into practice so you can use them whenever you need them. You'll learn how to listen to yourself more consciously, which will boost your confidence and self-esteem as well.
What is mentoring?
Unlike coaching, mentoring is a lengthier process, where I'll help you achieve your long-term goals. The objective here is to facilitate or accelerate your educational or career progression through continuous learning and improvements. I will teach you how to work more productively and efficiently. This is where you can expect specific practical tasks that you can apply to get the most out of yourself.
I also take a mentoring approach to exam preparation, which we'll tailor to your needs.
My approach and aims
Whichever package you choose, I aim to have YOU in focus and support you on your journey. I would like you to become more aware of yourself and more conscious of your challenges. I'm not going to instruct you on what to do, because I truly believe that you know your own life the best and are capable of making the choices that are most beneficial to you. I will only ask questions or maybe sometimes teach you something. But you can expect that I might push you out of your comfort zone, and who knows, it might even get a little more spacious in the end! :)
Where will we meet?
We'll meet online, on Zoom. For me, this has proven to be the most effective and the most user-friendly platform.
What should you do if you're interested in a package?
If you're interested in one of my offers, email me or contact me on mobile or WhatsApp and I'll get in touch with you. In any case, expect a short chat on the phone, where you can decide if you like me and would like to work with me. If you do (and I honestly hope you do!), we'll arrange a time for our first session and kick things off.
How many sessions are included in a package?
There are 3 or 5-session packages available. Each session takes 60 minutes. Based on our introductory conversation, I'll propose a personalised itinerary and a price offer.
The IELTS and the Cambridge C1 Advanced hybrid preparation courses are fixed packages. Check them out: IELTS, Cambridge C1 Advanced
